Director of the Department of Asia-Pacific Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ch.Bayarmunkh and Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General for Asia and Oceania Affairs Junichi Ihara held the consulative “Politico-Military Meeting” in UIaanbaatar, on December 10^th.

At the meeting, the parties spoke about bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Japan and a number of Asia-Pacific regional issues, and exchanged views.

The consultative meeting has been held since 2013 to strengthen Mongolian-Japanese strategic partnership.

Officials of the Mongolian National Security Council, and Defense Ministry of Mongolia and Japan were also present at the meeting.
