Thursday's regular cabinet meeting decided to open a 150 bed hospital to provide children with medical assistance and treatment, as a subject of the Ministry of Health and Sports, by remodeling an office building of the government, on December 11th.

The cabinet ordered Health and Sports Minister G.Shiilegdamba to oversee the selection of a state owned office building for the hospital, and to provide preparations for the hospital's operations and professional management. Finance Minister J.Erdenebat will be responsible for securing the required funding for the hospital.

Specialists of the Health and Sports Ministry think the hospital can be opened at the 10th government office building, once home to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
