In a triumphant victory, Hakuho M.Davaajargal won his 32nd Emperor's Cup at the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament on Sunday, on the occasion of the 852nd birthday of Chinggis Khaan and National Pride Day in Mongolia.

On the final day of the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament, Yokozuna Hakuho encountered fellow Yokozuna Kakuryu, and defeated him, claiming his fourth consecutive title.
Hakuho has caught up with Japan's legendary grand champion Taiho's record of 32 Emperor's Cup wins. The 48th Japanese Yokozuna Taiho claimed his last win in the January Tournament in 1971, carving a record in sumo history.
Hakuho holds the record for the most career championships, most undefeated championships, most consecutive championships, most championship winnings, and most wins in a calendar year.
