Aero Mongolia LLC launched permanent flights to Khanbogd Umnugovi. By launching the Ulaanbaatar-Khanbogd direct flight, new services will be available to passengers from the neighboring soums of Manlai, Bayan-Ovoo, and Tsogttsetsii, and company staffs of Oyu Tolgoi LLC.

Local authorities appreciate that the direct Ulaanbaatar-Khanbogd flight will help to bring more tourists to the Gobi Desert and benefit local community development too. This is the first direct permanent flight for local soum passengers in Mongolian civil aviation history. 

Aero Mongolia schedules Ulaanbaatar-Khanbogd-Ulaanbaatar flights twice a week, every Wednesday and Saturday.

Established in 2003, Aero Mongolia is a national airline based at Chinggis Khaan International Airport. The airline operates flights to 10 local and two regional destinations (China and Russia) with over 130 staff and service personnel.
