The State Sumo Championships Hakuho Cup, named after the 69th Grand Champion of Japanese professional sumo wrestling, Hakuho M.Davaajargal, will be held for the fifth year.

The Hakuho Cup promotes children's physical health, self-confidence, developing a healthy lifestyle, and teen fitness. The Hakuho Fund and Ikh Shavi Institute are organizing the Hakuho Cup at the Central Sports Palace from October 18-19th.

The Hakuho Cup will be held in four age categories: 8-9 years old, 10-11 years old, 12-13 years old, and 14-15 years old. Winners in the first three places of each age division will be named. The most skilled, combative and athletes with the best technique will be awarded too.

The winners in every age category will be enrolled in training and will compete in the Hakuho Cup held in Tokyo, Japan, in February 2015.

Registration for the State Sumo Championships will be conducted between September 17 – October 17th at Ikh Shavi Institute. Registration is free but a birth certificate, health insurance book, and passport-sized photos will be required.
