Mongolian freestyle wrestlers paved the way to win more than two medals at the 1985 World Championship. A.Enkhee and B.Bold both won silver at the World Championship in Hungary, and L.Enkhbayar won bronze.
The Mongolian men's freestyle team took 6th place among the teams from 106 countries at the 2014 United World Wresting World Championship.
Mongolian female freestyle wrestlers E.Sumiya and S.Battsetseg won silver, and T.Munkhtuya, O.Nasanburmaa and O.Burmaa won bronze from the 2013 World Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
This time, the strong Mongolian female team will claim medals in every weight category.
Today, four of Mongolia's female wrestlers will fight in the 48kg, 55kg, 60kg, and 69 kg events.
