For the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the victory of the battles at Khalkh Gol, senior military officials of the Defense Ministry and Mongolian Armed Forces paid their respects and laid a wreath on the Monument of Soviet Soldiers at the Zaisan Memorial and monuments to Marshal Georgy Zhukov and Mongolian hero L.Dandar on August 27th.

At the wreath laying ceremony, Mongolian and Russian senior military officials, MP and Defense Minister D.Bat-Erdene, Deputy Minister A.Battur, Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ts.Byambajav and  the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Mongolia I.Arjaev, and Khalkh Gol veterans were present. Defense Minister D.Bat-Erdene congratulated Khalkh Gol veterans from both Mongolia and Russia for the 75th anniversary and wished them to have healthy, long and happy lives.
