The Government has approved a 2.2 billion MNT budget for preparation and activities for the National Naadam Festival, during Saturday`s cabinet meeting on June 7^th.

While the City budget will invest 500 million,a further 369.9 million will come from ticket sales for Naadam, 57 million from last year`s ticket income surplus and 1.2 million MNT from the Government source fund.

The total budget for Naadam events is 1.5 billion MNT, And 921.2 million or 13.1 percent will be spent on prizes, 946 million MNT or  42.8 percent on culture and ceremonial events, 494 million MNT or 22.4 percent for improvement and public services, 142.5 million MNT or 6.4 percent for security and discipline, and 333.9 million MNT or 1.,1 percent for other organizing procedures.
