Ulaanbaatar
is getting ready for the coming days of Naadam. Repair work on the Central
Stadium will be over by July 8. MNT632 million will be spent by the Government for
Naadam. MNT100 million of this will come from the Government, MNT198 million
from the Metropolitan budget and MNT248 million from the income from various
events.

3.6-km road to Khui Doloon Khudag is being built by Yalguusan, Power Logistic
and Perfect Road companies at a cost of MNT1.1 billion. Some 500 organizations have
been given licenses to offer services around Naadam sites.
The
festival will start on July 10 as usual, but the formal opening ceremony will
take place 11 am the next day. A seat in the shades in the stadium will cost
MNT20,000 and in unshaded areas MNT10,000. Altogether 3,000 policemen and 1,000
inspectors of the professional monitoring agency will be on duty, Requests have
been received from about 700 media organizations to report on Naadam events.
