President Ts.Elbegdorj expressed his stance over the appointment of Sh.Tuvdendorj as Minister of Industry and Agriculture. Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag delivered a letter to President Ts.Elbegdorj asking his stance on the issue regarding the appointment of the new Minister of Industry and Agriculture.

President Ts.Elbegdorj said in return that it is appropriate to start with this appointment to launch the reform of drawing a boundary of rights and duties, responsibility and monitoring between the parliament and the government. The President stated that the nominee for the position of Minister of Industry and Agriculture should not hold the double post of cabinet minister at the same time as holding a seat in Parliament.

President Ts.Elbegdorj refused to accept the nominee Sh.Tuvdendorj as Minister of Industry and Agriculture.

The President also said in his letter that the appointment must be discussed again.
