China`s Deputy Justice Minister, Zhang Zhijun is on the second day of his working visit to Mongolia. On Monday the Justice Minister of Mongolia, Kh.Temuujin received Minister Zhang Zhijun.

At the meeting, the parties shares information about reforms in their respective legislatures, the legislative systems and the workings of detention centers. The representatives discussed ways to expand relations and cooperation in the field, and the potential of mutual legal assistance and matters behind the exchange of prisoners.

The Deputy Justice Minister of Mongolia, E.Erdenejamiyan, and China`s Deputy Justice Minister Zhang Zhijun signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation between the Justice Ministers of two countries.

During the visit to Mongolia, Minister Zhang Zhijun conducted visits to see the workings of the detention centers of  the Court Decision Enforcement Office of Mongolia and Law Enforcement University of Mongolia.

The visit by China`s Deputy Justice Minister will end today, on Tuesday 27th May.
