Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag who is attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in St. Petersburg, Russia, met Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin on May 23rd.
Vladimir Yakunin expressed pleasure about seeing Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag in his home town and welcomed the Mongolian officials. The two met previously in Ulaanbaatar during Vladimir Yakunin`s visit to Mongolia.
Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag expressed his appreciation of the exchanges of opinions seeking ways to boost the "Ulaanbaatar Railway" revenue, and mutually beneficial cooperation and Mongolia`s willingness to increase further collaboration.
Vladimir Yakunin said “the people of Mongolia supported and allied with us during the II World War. We have long-time friends and good neighbors. Financial restraint is around the world now. I believe the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is being held in Russia, will play an important role to alleviate this situation.”
The Prime Minister`s next scheduled meeting is with the CEO of “Rostek” corporation, S.V.Chemezov according to the Government`s press release.
