China”s
Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region and Mongolia have vowed to expand economic,
educational and cultural cooperation and also to fight desertification, said Hu
Chunhua, Communist Party of China chief of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Region, after a visit to Mongolia.
A delegation from the region headed by
Hu met with Mongolian leaders and
exchanged views on boosting exchanges and cooperation in agriculture,
education, culture, mining and infrastructure, and on free economic zones and
border checkpoints. They also discussed cooperation among the bordering areas
and in the fight against desertification.
