The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, L.Bold met a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Chairman, Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Steve Chabot, and member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Stephen Lynch, at Government House on May 15^th.

At the meeting, the Foreign Minister L.Bold pointed out that the people of the USA, and the US House of Representative supported Mongolia`s transition into democracy from the very first day and stated that the inter-parliamentary cooperation has given a significant contribution to bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and the USA.

The US congressmen expressed their  pleasure about their stay in Mongolia as part of their Asian tour, to be in a country that is a role model of democracy in the region and stated that the USA and the people of the USA have appraised Mongolia`s contribution to acknowledge and strengthen democracy and human rights.
