The hunting quota for 2014 has been set at 28 wild sheep, 41 wild goats, 20 red deer, 20 grey wolves, 20 roe deer and 200 Mongolian gazelle. The quote for the catching of 20 saker falcons for research work and 310 taimen which will be later released has also been set for 2014 in Mongolia.
In 2013, 15 wild sheep, 32 wild goats, 10 red deer, 4 grey wolves, 4 roe deer, and 4 wild boar in 28 sums were hunted for the purpose of sport and hunting based on a wildlife management plan, which produced 520,000,000 MNT income for the local and state budget.
