“Young women for change” NGO launched the “Women`s Image” Street Art-Artivism project, along with the Capital City Arts and Culture Authority with the support of the Ministry of Justice, to address gender based violence and abuse before International Women`s Day.

The Street Art & Artivism works of 20 young artists that display images of women and their lives are expected to add a unique aspect to the Ulaanbaatar City sights.

Art-Activism-Artivism is a global phenomenon that often expresses controversial ideas and values and can spark valuable debates in communities on how to change positively. Artivism is a type of modern art that can be used to voice views and opinions through street art.

The street art works “Women`s Image” launched by the “Young women for change” NGO was officially opened today at 11am, March 5th at Sansar Tunnel.
