The State Ice Hockey Championships 2014 started today at 12:30 pm in Erdenet City.

The competing teams lined up to participate in the State Championships are Khasiin Khulguud team from Otgon Od club, a hockey team from Baganuur, Khangarid team from Erdenet and Shariin Gol team of Darkhan-Uul aimag.

The competition opened with the game between the Khangarid team of Erdenet and the Shariin Gol team of Darkhan-Uul at 1:00 pm. The follow up game started at 3:00 pm between Khasiin Khulguud team of Otgon Od club and the team from Baganuur.

The State Ice Hockey Championships will continue for four days.
