
The “Bud X Roses” group has been trained by T.Bud, Culture leading figure N.Tuguldursaikhan, Culture leading figure G.Enkhgerel, Culture leading figure B.Altjin and Culture leading figure B.Uyanga, G.Sarangua and N.Munguntsatsrag. These Mongolian contortionists, aged between 14 and 20 years old, have been practicing their art for between 7-13 years. The Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism Ts.Oyungerel expressed special thanks to these talented young Mongolian women for achieving success and promoting an amazing cultural heritage and wished them success for the future.
The Golden Circus Festival was held in Rome, Italy, on the 30th anniversary of the event between December 21st 2013 to January 21st 2014. Mongolian circus artists have been participating uninterruptedly for a number of years.
Contortionists from the “Bud X Roses” studio under the training of T.Bud successfully participated in the June contortionist contest named after B.Norovsambuu. The won two gold prizes and won the “Bronze Lion” Award from International competition ranked A in October, as well as the Golden Lion Award for the best performance.
On the 30th anniversary of the Golden Circus a four-day ceremonial concert was held involving the world’s top circus artists. Mongolian contortionists held highlighted positions by leading the parade in the Festival. Pope Francis was amongst the audience to enjoy the Golden Circus Festival.
