The Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet are to stage the ballet “Swan lake” on Sunday January 26th. The money from ticket sales will go to a charitable cause to help the launch of a hospital for children with blood disorders and cancer in the grounds of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health.

Leading ballet dancers and artists from the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, including State Merit Artist of Mongolia, D.Altankhuyag, Cultural Leading Figure, B.Saruul, Cultural Leading Figure, A.Ulzii-Orshikh and classic dance students from the Music and Dance College of Mongolia will be present at the goodwill performance.

The new hospital building will be opening soon and the plan is to have all children with cancer and blood disorders treated at the Children’s Hospital. There are many patients with advanced cancer and medical specialists are apprehensive about now having to treat these patients. Issues regarding how to treat these patients are now being discussed.
