The President`s Cup of the best 128 wrestlers on the 102nd anniversary of the Declaration On the Restoration of National Independence of Mongolia was held at the Wrestling Palace on Sunday December 29th, 2013.

State falcon, a wrestler from Chandmani sum Khovd province, B.Purevsaikhan won the President`s Cup 2013 beating State giant, a wrestler from Mandal sum Selenge province, G.Erkhembayar. The President`s Cup where 128 high ranking wrestlers including State giant S.Munkhbat, G.Erkhembayar competed was held for the third year.

During the high ranking wrestlers tournament, President Ts.Elbegdorj, Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag and MP B.Bat-Erdene and other government officials visited the Wrestling Palace to watch the President`s Cup.

The special commemorative coin was issued by the Bank of Mongolia to mark the 100th anniversary of the Declaration On the Restoration of National Independence of Mongolia in 2011. And the winners of the President`s Cup were awarded the limited edition coin set which was made in England on the 102nd anniversary of the Declaration On the Restoration of National Independence of Mongolia. The coin features the inscription of the 100th anniversary of the Declaration On the Restoration of National Independence of Mongolia, 1911-2011 in Mongolian and English version and the Declaration On the Restoration of National Independence of Mongolia, President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj in traditional Mongolian script on the reverse side of the coin.
