
Due to the proposed changes to the structure of the first university in Mongolia, 14 main schools are expected to be integrated into the five sections of the School of Science, School of Social Sciences and Engineering, School of Law, School of Business and School of Foreign Service and Public Administration.
Over 50 teachers and 20 students and staffs of the National University held demonstration in opposition to the structural changes on December 12th but the Board finally accepted the huge changes to the structure of the University.
The National University of Mongolia that established in 1921 is one of the oldest schools in Mongolia.
The university has had a total enrollment of over 3580 in 2013. The University has provided 60,000 specialized personnel and highly qualified graduates for past nine decades.
