Local reports say that the new Ambassador from the Russian Federation to Mongolia will take their place on November 9th. It is reported that Azizov Iskander Kubarovich has been promoted to the role of Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mongolia due to the current Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary V.V.Samoilenko completing the term in office.

Graduate of Moscow State Institute of International Relations, 57 year old Azizov Iskander Kubarovich was the First Deputy Director for Asia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation until recently.

Azizov Iskander Kubarovich has played an active role as a member of the Intergovernmental committee between Mongolia and Russia over the past years. Fluent in Chinese he is well-known among Mongolian politicians and business groups.
