
President Elbegdorj, the first lady of Mongolia, Kh.Bolormaa, and accompanying officials were welcomed by the President of the Presidium of the Supreme People´s Assembly, Kim Yong-nam, Ambassador of Mongolia to DPRK, M.Ganbold and other officials at the Sunan International Airport in Pyongyang. During the arrival honorary guards marched to show respect to the President of Mongolia.
President Elbegdorj and President of the Presidium of the Supreme People´s Assembly, Kim Yong-nam had official talks at the Mansudae Assembly Hall.
After the official talks drew to a close there was a signing ceremony between Mongolia and the DPRK on bilateral relations and cooperation agreements.
The two parties signed intergovernmental agreements for cooperation on industry, agriculture, culture, sport, travel, roads, infrastructure. Protocol on the re-negotiate of intergovernmental agreements between Mongolia and DPRK and a cooperation plan for 2013-2015 between the Information and Communications Technology Authority of Mongolia and Software General Bureau of DPRK were also agreed upon.
On the first day of the visit, President Elbegdorj and first lady Kh.Bolormaa along with accompanying officials, businessmen and journalists were invited to see a ceremonial performance by Korean artists on Monday evening.
