According to a Government decision, foreign
citizens will this year be given special licenses to hunt a total of 50 argali,
200 yangir (mountain goat), 50 gazelles, 80 antelopes, 60 wolves and 200 birds.
The number of saker falcons allowed to be caught and exported has been set at 240,
each costing USD12,000.

The figures set for domestic personal
consumption are: 241 gazelles, 208 boars, 2,025 antelopes, 200 musk rats, 13,800
fish, and 1,000 black cocks, partridges, and bobwhites each.  Uvs, Zavkhan, Bayan-Ulgii and Dornod provinces
have been permitted to catch 100 tons of fish this year for commercial use.
