Turkish
President Abdullah Gul and President Ts. Elbegdorj held a meeting on Wednesday
on the sidelines of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building
Measures in Asia (CICA) in Istanbul.  Both
leaders later said the meeting had been constructive.

Gul stressed that Turkey and Mongolia shared a common history and the Turkish
Government encouraged its businessmen to invest in Mongolia. Turkey also wanted
to strengthen its cooperation with Mongolia in the educational sector.

President Elbegdorj extended an invitation to Gul to visit Mongolia.
