The Ambassador of Pakistan, Masood Khalid and the Ambassador of Greece, Vasilios Kostis, presented their credentials to the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj in Ulaanbaatar on Monday. The Foreign Minister of Mongolia and the Head of the President`s Office were also present for the occasion. The President of Mongolia warmly welcomed the Ambassadors and expressed pleasure at their posting.

President Ts.Elbegdorj received the Ambassador of Pakistan Masood Khalid and stated that Mongolia sees Pakistan as an important partner in the Asia and Pacific region, adding that Mongolia is willing to boost cooperation particularly for investment, agriculture, education, science technology and environment and broaden ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

The President also confirmed the country”s readiness to work more closely with the Ambassador to tighten traditional bilateral good relations between Mongolia and Pakistan and expressed best wishes for his future work.

When President Ts.Elbegdorj received the Ambassador of Greece Vasilios Kostis the President said that an aim of foreign policy currently in Mongolia is to tighten friendly relations and cooperation with EU member countries including Greece.

The President also stated that Mongolia signed a relations and cooperation memorandum with the EU that leads to new possibilities to boost bilateral cooperation.

Then President Elbegdorj wished success to the Ambassadors and expressed his hope to continue developing mutual relations and cooperation.
