Mongolian Youth Day is marked every year on August 25th according to Mongolian law set in 2003.

The United Nations (UN) celebrates International Youth Day on August 12th yearly to recognize the youth participation in enhancing global society. It was declared by the General Assembly Resolution 54/120 in 1999.  For this year the theme was “Youth Migration: Moving Development Forward.”

Mongolian Youth Day will be celebrated under an appeal by the Ministry of Human Development and Social Welfare. The Ministry will oversee every level of discussion on youth migration issues, developing collaboration between government and non-government organizations to help youths to find their own way.
