The Judo World Championship is being organized under new rules approved by the International Judo Federation (IJF). The old rules stated that a participating country in the Championship was entitled to enter only two judokas in any one class. But now nine judokas in both the female and male classes will be entitled to participate.
Each country`s Judo Association has the right to decide on how many judokas are to compete in each class.
The Mongolian Judo Association is focused on the male lightweight classes and will submit judokas in the 60 kg, 66 kg and 73 kg classes and a judoka in the 81 kg, 90 kg and -100 kg classes.
