Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama Friday congratulated Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on his re-election as president of Mongolia.

In his letter to the President Elbegdorj, the Dalai Lama said: “Mongolia has made impressive progress and this advancement will become increasingly meaningful as it results in direct improvement in the lives of ordinary people.”

The last time his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama paid a visit in Mongolia gave speeches to students and the general public.
