The General Election Commission held a regular meeting to hear reports on the preparation work for the Presidential Election from working groups today on June 14th.

The Commission heard reports about monitoring lists of voters, the process regarding internal migration and arrangements of polling overseas for absentee voters, the process regarding automatic voting machines and printing ballot papers.

During the meeting the General Election Commission discussed a request delivered by the Information Technology, Post and Telecommunication Authority along with the Mongolian Youth Federation.

The official request delivered from the regulatory agency of the Government to the General Election Commission said that national mobile operator companies Mobicom corporation, G-mobile LLC, Skytel LLC and UNITEL group would distribute 1000 mobile phone units as a prize to each voter who casts their vote in the Presidential Election and will cover any sudden expenses during the distribution.
