The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions to hold its 21st special session meeting at the Central Palace of Culture of the Mongolian Trade Union today on June 3rd.

Members of the Confederation are expected to elect the President of the organization for approval.

S.Ganbaatar resigned as President of the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions at the General Council meeting in March after he was elected to Parliament. S.Ganbaatar was appointed as Honorary President of the Confederation.

The Vice President of the Confederation, Kh.Amgalanbaatar has been in charge of operations and has been acting president of the Confederation since March.

The potential candidates for the position of President have been speculated over.

The names of the acting president, Kh.Amgalanbaatar and the Secretary Ts.Adiya are expected to be raised for the position during today`s 21st special session meeting. There is also speculation that the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions will update their rules during the session meeting.
