The national day for tree planting is marked nationwide every year on the Saturday of the second week in May and October according to a decree by the President.  For the national day of tree planting MPs, cabinet members, representatives of the Capital City Citizens` Representative Khural and authorities of Ulaanbaatar are to plant trees in the National Park on Saturday May 11th.

There will also be tree planting in the parks of the central six districts, avenues and streets of the Capital City and planting exhibitions and fairs will be launched.
