Following close on the heels of Foreign Minister
G.Zandanshatar’s visit to Germany, a large group of German business people led
by their Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will be in Mongolia from June 1 to 3. Germany
is Mongolia’s second biggest donor, after Japan.
Zandanshatar met with Dirk Niebel, Minister for Economic Cooperation and
Development. Niebel revealed that. Germany will provide to Mongolia 27 million
euro in loan and assistance in 2010-2011. He will be visiting Mongolia in
August.
Zandanshatar also met with B.Pfaffenbach, State Secretary at
the Ministry of Economy and Technology to discuss cooperation in mining,
infrastructure and tourism sectors and increased German cooperation in minerals
exploration, in setting up the Sainshand industrial complex, and in securing finance for mining projects.
He also addressed a business meeting organized by Kommerz Bank.
