According to the resolution on the date announcement of the Presidential Election, set by the State Great Khural, the Presidential Election period has officially been announced from today.

Therefore, from today citizens` internal migration from one administrative unit to another must be temporally halted until the next voting day according to election law.

The General Election Committee has completed 42 rules, manuals and sheet forms from templates in preparation for applying Presidential Election law.

The General Election Committee has also standardized the maximum limit on the amount a candidate can spend for the election at 3 billion MNT and 5.1 billion MNT for a party. 

A spokesperson of the General Election Committee said that 1,896 electoral districts have been established in the legal framework this year.
