
The Court found D.Amgalanbaatar guilty for fraudulent activities by using fake adverts for study in USA, England, South Korea and Japan with 100 percent scholarship for 10-20 thousand US dollars from each victim. The court found that he used the former Education Minister`s false signature on false documents to attract the potential victims.
During the investigation it was revealed that D.Amgalanbaatar caused 53 million MNT fraud damages to 43 people.
The Judges heard expert reports on the evidence proved that he forged the former minister`s signature.
The Prosecutor of Sukhbaatar District Prosecutor`s Office, D.Tsengelmaa, imposed D.Amgalanbaatar to a 12 years and 6 months jail term and to recover the victims` damage. But the judge panel sentenced D.Amgalanbaatar to an 11 year jail term in a special regime prison.
