A huge fire ravaged Mon Gas Service company located in front of the military town in Tolgoit in Songinokhairkhan district today, March 27th. No report has yet been released on resultant injuries or deaths.

Ulaanbaatar City Emergency staff completed extinguishing the fire at around 3:20 pm. Officials of the emergency services said that staff of V division of the City Emergency Department worked on the scene. “It is too early to determine the cause of such a huge fire and what losses can be estimated in the gas production company. There was a high risk of a gas balloon explosion in the factory due to the fire. Fortunately the emergency staff managed to extinguish the fire in time.”
