The Mongolian National Ice Hockey team won bronze in the “Challenge Cup 2013” in Bangkok, Thailand. Ice hockey players from 10 countries competed in the “Challenge Cup” this year, which has been organized yearly since 2008.

Mongolian hockey players defeated India 20:0, Macao 6:1 and Singapore 3:2 but came in second, losing their match with Hong Kong by 7:3 in the session.

The Mongolian National team won against the two time winner, the host team 5:4 from Thailand, for the right to enter the semi final in the “Challenge cup”. But lost the o Hong Kong team by 4:3 for the silver medal.

The Mongolian ice hockey team defeated the Kuwaiti team with 11:0 for the bronze medal.
