The Federal Republic of Germany is to run an electricity saving program in Mongolia.

The National Center for Standardization and Metrology announced that the Physical and Technical Institute of Germany is to develop a program called “Development of Quality Infrastructure for the Energy Sector” for the Mongolian Energy sector.

The program is designated to support both ecological balance and economical growth. The program should be combined and run along with other energy projects.

In order to adopt German technology which uses energy efficiently, the Implementing Agencies in Mongolia should play a large role in using the new standards and by studying the current conditions in the energy sector in advance.

For example, the National Center for Standardization and Metrology will cooperate by developing an appropriate standard for adopting new technology in the energy sector.
