The Secretary General of MPRP, G.Byambasuren, held a press conference with journalists about the Managing Board meeting of MPRP which was held on Monday.

The Managing Board discussed the country`s current situation. Members of MPRP widely criticized repression of N.Enkhbayar, the former president and the head of MPRP who was jailed for seven months. The Secretary General of MPRP, G.Byambasuren, made a statement that “MPRP endured this issue for the Mongolian people and the country. But the current situation caused by the result of the Local Administrative Election reveals that MPRP has scope no longer to cooperate with the Government. Around 2700-2800 members of MPRP were nominated in the Local Administrative Election, but G.Byambasuren claims that most of the candidates rights to be elected in the Election were violated and broken before the election.

“If any unstable political condition arises MPRP is not responsible for it. Arresting and detaining the head of the party which fights for Justice shows a fear of Justice” said D.Byambasuren.
