Chairman of General Election Committee Ch.Sodnomtseren has called for voters participation due to today`s Local Administrative Election.

Voting for Local Administrative Election voting in Districts, Sums and Aimags will run from 07:00 am to 22:00 pm on 21st November. The Chairman Ch.Sodnomtseren introduced the preparations for the Local Administrative Election which is held at all levels of Citizens Representative Khural of Sums, Aimags and Districts in Ulaanbaatar city. Total 2370 election committees were organized in 9 Districts in Ulaanbaatar city and centers of 330 Sums in 21 Aimags, and 2010 sub-electoral commissions nationwide. Over 23,000 state staff is working as commission member, security officer, dedicated officer, IT engineer and clerk in order to run the voting normally. Nationwide total 2010 polls are established whereas 2500 voting machines, 2615 ID card readers are installed in place.

According to State Registration Office report 1.862.500 citizens of Mongolia are registered to vote. A high record of 19400 candidates of 7 parties, 2 coalitions are to compete in Local Administrative Election.
