First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi, by referring to
historical and cultural commonalities between Iran and Mongolia, said that our friendly
political ties necessitate our trade and economic relations to expand, too.

According to the report of Presidential Office website, Rahimi, in a meeting
with Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj, said that Iran is ready to increase
its all-out relations with Mongolia.

Rahimi said that ruling powers of the world are to invade culture of civilized
countries, so these nations should resist against this invasion and try to
protect their own culture.

He added that Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) has unique capacity with 120 states as
members, so if these countries promote their ties in different fields, they
would be able to resist hegemonic powers.

Referring to Iran”s progress and achievements in different fields of science
and technology, Rahimi said that Iranians, by relying on their own abilities
against sanctions and enemies” conspiracies, have resisted and self-efficiency
of Iranians can be a role model for other independent nations.

President Tsakhia Elbegdorj, by referring to his meeting with Supreme Leader
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, said that his highness knowledge and mastery over
culture and history is excellent.

He also praised way of hosting the 16th NAM summit in Tehran and called for
strengthening bilateral ties between Tehran and Ulaanbaatar.

He said his country is planning for promotion of culture and prevention of
cultural invasion and conspiracies of enemies and underlined necessity of
expansion of cultural cooperation and relations with Iran.
