On July 4, President Elbegdorj received the Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet
Asim Arar on occasion of the end of his term of diplomatic mission in Mongolia.

The President Elbegdorj awarded the Ambassador Ahmet Asim Arar with the
“Nairamdal” or “Friendship” medal for his valuable commitment in developing
relations and partnership of the two countries in the economic, defense, trade
and humanity spheres.

President Elbegdorj thanked for his contribution in developing the bilateral
relations in numerous spheres in his four years term of mission in Mongolia,
representing the State of Turkey. Also, the President stated that from
Yesterday new air route Istanbul – Bishkek – Ulaanbaatar has been opened,
contributing the partnership and relations of people of both countries and
expressed satisfaction over the steps being initiated by both sides to protect
water supply.

“I’m truly happy that I was appointed to serve in Mongolia. Our countries have
relations since ancient times. Furthermore, we have numerous works to
accomplish. Certainly, I will often visit Mongolia as a close friend” replied
the Ambassador Ahmet Asim Arar.
