
Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade G.Zandanshatar signed an agreement to ease the condition of visa process during his official visit to The South Korea between May 31 to June 1. During press conference G.Zandanshatar stated that it will be a begin a potentially visa-free entry for people since travelers` flow keeps increasing between two countries. According to that agreement a citizen owns an ordinary passport to be granted multiple visa for up to five years, to be exempted from visa fees while visa service fees are still available. A person who lost ID or other document is to be allowed entry without re-granting visa, or extend visa free fees. Two sides agreed to allow a transit traveler to stay up to 72 hours in the country without visa if there a natural disaster occurs, to extend the date for non-resident who owns diplomatic and official passport up to 90 days. Two sides also agreed to continue the agreement signed in 2004 to allow citizens who has travelled more than four times a year with ordinary passports up to 30 days. The South Korea had already expressed that it is ready to act out it while Mongolian Government still needs to approve it.
