The spring session of Parliament announced a recess
yesterday, on May 23, 2012.

D.Demberel, the Speaker noticed in his speech that due to upcoming
parliamentary election the parliament have to take a recess. “I would like to say
some words on contribution of the parliament elected as result parliamentary election
in 2008. Main achievement is economy growth. Mongolian economy is one of the
faster growing economy. Mongolian economic growth reached 17 percent. This
figure shows monetary and budget policy on right way. Last four years MNT 3
billion invested to the infrastructure and construction. Family income went up
2.2 times” said the Speaker.

Within the authorized term of four years, the State Great
Khural adopted 111 laws, amended 4848 and approved 350 resolutions, 35 policy
documents and 59 international contracts and agreements. It is considered that
the spring session has solved all targeted issues.
