Ulaanbaatar City Mayor G.Munkhbayar met with teachers from elementary
and secondary schools on Friday at Sport Palace un Buyant-Ukhaa. More than 5000
teachers attended the meeting.

Last year on Day of Teachers G.Munkhbayar first met with
teachers and this is a second.

After the last year’s meeting the Mayor decided to implement
“Healthy Teacher” campaign and 89 percent of teachers have passed a medical
examination in 2011.

The Mayor introduced teachers about investment to the city
education. According to the Mayor around MNT 193,7 billion invested to the city
education sector and built 7 schools, 16 kindergartens, 10 sport centers and 2
cultural center. “As result number of kindergarte’s children increase by 6900
while school’s by 19920” said G.Munkhbayar.

As informed during the meeting Teacher’s Development Palace
to be launch soon.

The City administration is planned to invest MNT 2,94
billion in 2012.
