Six dancers
from the acclaimed Chicago Moving Company will perform in
Dances at the iLoft Function House on May 7. The evening will showcase the company’s
artistic innovation and powerful performance style.

for the past three weeks conducting modern dance classes for students from
colleges and universities throughout
Choreography
by both women and Chicago Moving Company guest artist Bob Eisen will feature in
Chicago Dances. Five distinct pieces will be performed, with each offering
audiences a completely different interpretation of modern dance. One piece will
take on a distinctly Mongolian edge, with live improvised music provided by
khoomi artist.
World–class
sound and lighting will be provided for the performance by Barry Steele and Luke Kehrwald, who will be
visiting Mongolia to train local sound and lighting technicians as part of the
Arts Council of Mongolia’s ‘Sound and Light’ project.
