The State Specialized Inspecting Agency (SSIA) has recently checked medicines that are sold in the state, medicine equipments’ quality and safety.

It has checked 30 pharmacies, 100 organizations that supply medicals, 800 drug stores, and food market and hospitals where could be sold counterfeit drugs. Monitoring has revealed distortions of many pharmacies that produce medicine at places not meeting pharmacy standards.

Besides, 14 medicines of 13 pharmacies have not met medicine standards and quality. Some 92 medicines that have not been registered at the state registration and have not met qualities were sold at some drug stores. The SSIA has taken accountable to these drug stores.

85 percent of registered medicine supply organizations have been checked by SSIA in soums, aimags, cities, and the capital.
