
The DP caucus has written that the DP has focused on every citizen would have shares of mineral resources revenue and shares would be estimated MNT1 million at 2008 election platform with the aim to give mineral resources wealth to own. Platform has reflected that shares owning would be regulated by legislation that shares types, condition, source, and specification would be related to citizens, households, and the state development benefice.
The DP and DP caucus at Parliament have actively worked to fulfill goals to equally share mineral resources and mining revenue to citizens. For instance, Parliament’s 57th protocol has aimed to decide shares of Erdenes Tavantolgoi LLC with par of MNT1 million to citizens within February 1, 2012. But the Government has not started this work yet.
Besides, gasoline and consumer goods’ price increase in base of tugrik’s rate falling has pressured people’s living. That is why DP caucus has suggested that to decide above mentioned issues continuing autumn session. But the MPP caucus has decided to recess autumn session while Parliament could convene special session before Tsagaan sar.
The DP caucus views that the MPP caucus has postponed decision of many facing problems of citizens. It also views that power holders’ irresponsibility decision that special session would be called in March.
Therefore, the DP caucus demands the Government to decide shares issue of Erdenes Tavantolgoi LLC. It also notes that Parliament would be soon convened and it promptly discuss and decide tugrik’s rate fall, consumer goods’ price increase, and draft laws on local elections. The DP stands to decide these issues as soon as possible, underlined the note.
