The Authority for Fair Competition and Consumers (AFCC) has checked activities of several sausage factories in accordance of rules for the state inspectors.

The AFCC has determined that some 12 sausage factories have increased sausage price without basis. State inspectors concluded that sausage producers have had plot to increase production price during a meeting that was held at Khuns Complex LLC on January 28. But some representatives of sausage factories stated that meat price raise influenced to sausage price increase.

Besides, other sausage factories have increased their products’ price by from MNT1,000 to MNT1,300.

An inspector of AFCC stated our correspondent that sausage factories have increased sausage price without any basis and they have violated the law on competition.  The 12 factories should be fined by amount of 0.5 percent sell income of previous year. Audit report of 2011 will account organizations’ sell income and fines have been directed to correct the organization’s mistake.
