The Paris Grand Slam judo tournament was held over the weekend, with 589 judo wrestlers from 94 countries taking part. Mongolia’s team consisted of 11 men and 7 women.

S.Nyam-Ochir won a gold medal in the men’s 73 kg division, M.Bundmaa won a silver medal in the women’s 52 kg division, Kh.Tsagaanbaatar won a bronze medal in the men’s 66 kg division, and M.Urantsetseg won a bronze medal in the women’s 48 kg division on Saturday. Beijing Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar won a gold medal in men’s -100 kg division, and B.Temuulen won a bronze medal in the same division on Sunday.

The Mongolian team finished third overall, winning two gold medals, one silver, and three bronze medals.
